On April 28th, 2025 at 6PM CST, join us for a special screening and live Q&A as we share an unreleased documentary that follows a powerful journey of return, reflection, and reclamation.

In November 2023, ten Black baristas traveled to East Africa to explore the precolonial history of coffee. But what they found went far beyond beans—it was a deeper rediscovery of identity, culture, and community.

Growing up, many of us were told “Don’t drink coffee, it’ll make you Black.”
What if that was more truth than warning?

This documentary experience is a glimpse into a larger mission—to reclaim and celebrate Black culture through coffee, art, and community. Stick around after the screening for a live Q&A where we’ll unpack the vision and what’s next.

Tap in. Bring your questions. Watch with us.

What to Expect:

• Exclusive screening to our unreleased film about the precolonial history of coffee with Vanderbilt.

• How your support fuels expansion
